| Hiring a car, and driving north. It took me more like 5 hours, since I stopped a few times (to fuel both me and the car), and I also followed a few brown-road-signed tourist detours. |

I’ve spent several hours today driving from Auckland to Paihia/Bay of Islands. That’s several hours driving north. Into the sun. Which didn’t cause me any confusion or disorientation. Sometimes it’s useful having no sense of direction…
