I mostly like my new Pixel 10, but it has one issue. The camera sticks out a bit at the back, and the back surface is very smooth. So the phone doesn't lie flat, and if it's right on the edge of a surface, it has a tendency to start sliding, especially if the power cable is plugged in and pulling it slightly.
I was on a train today, with my phone plugged in and resting on the tiny table in front of me. I didn't notice it start sliding. It gently slid off the table, bounced against the side of the carriage, then plopped onto the floor.
No damage, but when I picked it up, I discovered I had in that instant received an email from Vodafone, offering me damage insurance. Coincidence?
