It’s the second day of UCNC (
Unconventional Computation and Natural Computation) conference here in Auckland, and time for the conference excursion. Amazingly. it stopped raining. Most delegates piled into a coach, and headed west to Piha, for a “taster” session of New Zealand landscapes.
First we had a short clifftop walk, seeing some stunning coastline.
Then back in the coach for a short drive, taking us to a forest walk.
Next, a trip down to Piha beach and Lion Rock.

A wonderful time, and it augers well for sightseeing to come!
